June 10

Closed from noon to midnight (June 11), both lanes

Ayala Avenue from Makati Avenue (Manila Peninsula) to Rufino (GMA News used the old name, Herrera) Street (Rufino Tower)

Paseo de Roxas Avenue from Sedeno (Paseo de Roxas Center) to Dela Rosa (BPI) Sts.

Rufino Street from Valero (Chocolate Fire) to Dela Rosa (World Commerce Plaza) Sts.

I have been working in Makati CBD since Jojo Binay was campaigning for Cory (with about a year’s break), and these directions confuse me!  I have moved  Makati CBD appointment today to San Juan, even though, maybe more than four years ago, I saw few cars when something like this happened, as everyone stayed away.  The traffic was just like that of a Friday. So far, my appointment tomorrow at Medical Plaza is stet.  I was advised to park in the building–too narrow, challenging, then the street–too expensive at P 35 for the first two hours and P 40 for the third hour, then I was advised to park in the parking lot beside Makati Med.  I plan to take Makati Avenue, turn right at Sen. Gil Puyat, take Zuellig loop, U-turn at Ayala Ext., and turn right at Salcedo St. I hope that the parking entrance is there.

I have also tried to make a bet with the seminar organizer that they won’t meet their 15-participant minimum.

I think that a Maven Secrets classmate who first told me about Makati‘s closed roads.  It was my partner SK’s warning me not to go to Makati today upto Saturday, that got me googling.
